HGTV host Nicole Curtis looking to renovate old Detroit home

Nicole Curtis, host of HGTV's "Rehab Addict" is back in Detroit to work on a new show and wants to help rehab your home. She is accepting applications immediately from Detroit homeowners who either don't know where to start on their historic fixer upper, have contractor woes or have just bitten off more then they can chew.

Curtis just celebrated 10 years of filming "Rehab Addict" with over 60 episodes right here in Detroit. She is passionate about giving old homes new life and encouraging others to repurpose instead of tear down great architecture in and around Detroit. Her team of experts has worked together for years.

Highlights from Detroit renovations over the years are airing right now on Tuesday night's at 10 p.m. on HGTV.

Curtis has several projects currently in the city and all of the Michigan homes featured on the show are Airbnb properties that she still owns. If you'd like to see some of her finished projects, click here .

Over the years, Curtis has received a lot of emails from homeowners asking for advice, and that sparked an idea for a new show. She wants to help solve homeowner dilemmas and make their renovation dreams come true.

Here are the application requirements:

Must be homeowner occupied
At least 2600 square feet
Must be in the city of Detroit
Must be an old (or historic) home
Must have budget of 40k + to contribute to renovations

Take several clear, well-lit pictures of your home and the spaces you would like renovated
Share a little about yourself and describe the work you need done
