Here's how you can report potholes to MDOT

With the freeze-thaw cycle in full effect, potholes are popping up more and more on metro Detroit roads and highways.

On the MDOT website, they have a tool where you can report a pothole. You can find that link here , or call them at 888-296-4546. You can only report potholes to MDOT on state roads, which normally begin with "M,' "I", or "US" designations. Your report will be forwarded to the appropriate MDOT region staff for action.

If you'd like to report other potholes you can contact your county or local unit of government.
