Michigan residents can spend the night in Hell and even be mayor for a day for three nights in October.
John Colone, the self-proclaimed mayor of Hell, Michigan, is inviting local residents to claim his throne for the evening.
“I am the biggest Halloween fan in the world (and the underworld), so I hope that our little slice of paradise can fill fellow Halloween lovers with all of the frightful chills and spooky sensations of the season,” said John. “And to our guests and soon-to-be Mayors, I trust you’ll find that there is no place more welcoming than Hell on Earth—we can’t wait to show you a helluva good time!”
Guests can explore the hellish town, including hiking trails, a fire pit, outdoor movie screen and pumpkin carving.
Michigan residents will be able to request to book their night in Hell on AirBnb. The reservations will take place on Oct. 18, 21 and 24. Each night will cost $31.
The listing will be cleaned prior to guests’ arrival in accordance with Airbnb's Enhanced Cleaning Protocol, which is informed by guidelines from health and medical experts.
Interested guests should review John’s rules for a spooky but safe stay, including that those who request to book must be Michigan residents and come from the same household to minimize risk.
