Singing and listening to music are some of Brittney’s favorite things, but she also loves watching wrestling and eating out at Chipotle. She just turned 15 in foster care, and she’s hoping to be adopted soon.
“I want a family that is nice and will accept me for who I am,” said Brittney. “I want a Mom that’s going to be there for me and not do bad things.”
She’s a typical teen who likes to go shopping and hang out with people. She has a caring nature which will help her in her future career.
“I want to be a nurse because I like to help people. And afterward I like to give them candy – especially the kids,” she said smiling.
“Brittney is very caring and has a strong relationship with her older sister,” said a person closer to her.
And when Brittney talks about her sister Brianna, she lights up. “I love her smile. I love that she cares about me and talks to me every day.”
Some of her dreams include going on vacation with her future parent or parents.
“With my family I would like to travel to the beach. I want to go shopping and paint our nails – maybe go to a nail shop and get our nails done or just watch TV together,” she said.
She was candid about how hard it’s been without a loving parent around.
“People don’t understand what I go through. It’s hard to go to sleep at night. People don’t understand what we have to go through at night. Teenagers just need that support,” she said softly.
“I think I’m a good fit. I’ve been through a lot, and I’ve overcame [sic] a lot of stuff. I want someone to be there for me,” said Brittney.
