He’s got good dance moves and he’s quick on the court, too.
14-year-old Kaden – who is currently in foster care – is hoping to be adopted soon.
“I’m shy,” he chuckles and then adds with a smile, “No, I’m really shy.”
“I am kind of funny. I like making jokes,” he added.
His real passion comes out in sports.
“I like playing basketball in my spare time,” said Kaden. “I’m an athletic person. I like playing football and basketball. Those are my favorites. Oh, and softball. I love softball.”
He also works out a lot.
“I do like 300 push-ups a day right now,” he said.
He also enjoys fishing, shopping and writing.
“I like journaling,” said Kaden.
When he thinks about a future career, he would really like to incorporate cars.
“I want to be an engineer for the military. They work on planes and Humvees and all the vehicles and stuff. I just like messing with cars. That would give me a chance to mess around with cars and see what I can do,” Kaden explained.
He would like a family with siblings and could live in the country – though he’s partial to more metropolitan areas.
But what he’s looking for most is a forever family.
“I’m just kind of looking for a family that’s athletic,” said Kaden. “I do want to play sports and stuff if I do go to a family.”
He’d like to go on runs or go jogging with his adoptive parents.
And he is very much looking forward to the love a family can give.
“Everyone gets treated how they want to get treated,” he said. “I’ve never lived with a ‘good family.’ If I lived with a good family, I feel like I’d really appreciate it.”
