Whether it’s helping fix dinner or whipping up dessert, 11-year-old Joshua likes spending time in the kitchen. The child who is currently in foster care is hoping to find adoptive parents who likes family dinners.

“I like to make cakes – like strawberry cake or vanilla cake. And I cook spaghetti, Ramen noodles, and French toast,” he said proudly.

He is also a very talented dancer.

“I like dancing…because it’s fun and it’s kind of an exercise. I like to listen to music, too,” said Joshua.

“Joshua is an amazing athlete. He loves playing basketball and lights up at any ounce of praise,” explained his worker.

His favorite subjects are math and science.

“I want to be a doctor because I want to help people out,” Joshua said.

“He is so kind and caring. I have seen Joshua interacting with his brother and sister, and he truly is such a great brother,” his worker said.

“I want a big family with brothers and sisters,” said Joshua.

“I want a family that doesn’t fight,” he added. “I would love a family to take me to a basketball game.”
