Two Good Samaritans stepped in to help an elderly woman Wednesday afternoon at a Kroger in Roseville.
An elderly woman was grocery shopping at the Kroger on 13 Mile Road when she left her purse unattended in her cart.
Police say the 53-year-old male suspect, of New Baltimore, snatched the woman's purse and took off running out of the store.
Two people witnessed the incident and chased the suspect. The Good Samaritans were able to apprehend and detain the suspect until Roseville police arrived moments later.
Police say the suspect is in custody, awaiting arraignment in the 39th District Court.
