General Motors temporarily stopped production of its Chevy Blazer Friday, a spokesperson confirmed with FOX 47 News.
Blazer production at the automaker's Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico has been interrupted as a result of a part shortage from the month-old United Auto Workers strike.

On Wednesday, the UAW reached a tentative agreement with the GM on a new four-year-contract. Workers are expected to remain on the picket line until members complete a vote on the proposal by Oct. 25.
Voting is slated to begin Saturday for rank-and-file UAW-GM members .
