Dialysis patients were moved out of a Henry Ford building after a gas line was struck nearby in Dearborn.

Construction crews reportedly hit a 2 inch line near Evergreen and Hubbard. The gas line has been repaired.

Henry Ford Health System issued the following statement about the leak: Our facilities and engineering teams responded to the medical center for reports of a natural gas smell. It was determined that a gas line was cut on a neighboring property. Air quality tests performed by the fire department came back fine, but, we did move some patients away from the area and shut down some air handling units as a precaution. We did evacuate patients from the nearby dialysis clinic and are waiting for the fire department and gas company to repair the leak.

Chopper 7 video showed people out in front of the Henry Ford Health System dialysis clinic earlier this morning.
