Kelly Stafford, the wife of Detroit Lions Quarterback Matthew Stafford, announced Tuesday that she is having brain surgery to remove a tumor.
She posted the news via Instagram, showing an MRI scan of her brain.
According to the post, she began to notice things were different within the last year, and would get dizzy or off balance.
"Things that I had been doing my entire life were now, all of a sudden, difficult," the post reads.
Supporters of Stafford offered well-wishes and words of encouragement on social media.
Kelly Stafford was diagnosed with a brain tumour recently. She undergoes surgery this month and could use all of our prayers. Please send your prayers to the Stafford family.

Prayers up for Kelly Stafford. Acoustic Neuromas treatment has good outcomes, usually, but brain surgery is brain surgery. Wishing them all the best.
