The Fraser Department of Public Safety advises residents that they may see '"rusty-colored" water on Wednesday.
Officials say they will be flushing fire hydrants in the 15 Mile Road and Hayes neighborhood.
If you do experience brown water, let the faucet run for about 2 to 3 minutes. The water should flush clean, officials say.
The department is offering free bottles of stain remover to residents if the brown water has stained their laundry.
