Fired from his job and facing criminal charges, a high school coach is accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a female student.
That inappropriate sexual contact came in the form of explicit text messages.
Twenty-six-year old Tyler Card was fired on Monday from his swim coaching job at Allen Park High School, after allegedly sending explicitly sexual text messages to a female student.
The victim is a sophomore and a member of the girls swim team.
According to the police report the incident happened last month. Card sent her sexual text messages through the app snap chat and asked her to send him nude photos.
The school notified parents and students of the incident shortly after it occurred.
