Forest School in Ypsilanti was placed on lockdown after administrators found a bullet hole this morning.

According to police, the soft lockdown was put into place this morning at the school on Ecorse Rd. The school is part of the Washtenaw Intermediate School District.

A spokesperson for Washtenaw ISD said they discovered the bullet hole in the school window. It's unknown if it happened during school hours.

A soft lockdown means no one is allowed in or out of the school.

It's not clear when the lockdown will be lifted.
