That’s a 19 percent increase, or $3 million more, than he earned in 2015.
Fields’ salary, bonus and stock in Ford earned him $18.8 million, plus an additional $2,845,003 in pension value.
The 56-year-old, who became CEO in 2014, is overhauling Ford’s business model so the company can move into self-driving cars and invest in more technology.
The second highest earner was Executive Chairman William Clay Ford Jr. with $13,862,938 in 2016.
