A fleet of "big blue mobile medical clinics" is on its way from New York City to Flint to help provide health resources to kids affected by the Flint water crisis.

Hurley Medical Center, along with Michigan Sen. Debbie Stabenow and Flint Mayor Karen Weaver announced the mobile clinics are coming from Children's Health Fund, a New York-based non-profit.

The clinics will be "integrated into the services" that are coordinated by Hurley Children's Hospital.

"This mobile medical clinic will make an enormous difference in the lives of thousands of Flint children," Stabenow said. "The clinic will give hope to families in Flint who are so worried about their children's safety."

This isn't the first time CHF brought mobile medical clinics to Michigan. In 2009, they brought them in response to the severe recession.

They will soon be in Flint to begin the program, named the "Flint Children's Health Project."
