Roads are washed out due to flash flooding occurring in northeastern Houghton County in the Upper Peninsula.

A Flash Flood warning has been issued until 7:15 p.m. Sunday.

Law enforcement reported historic flood damage across the area, resulting from 4 to 8 inches of rain that fell, according to the National Weather Service.

NWS says although most of the flooding has subsided, damage to road infrastructure will continue to make travel dangerous or impossible for an extended period of time.
