Detroit police continue to gather evidence in hopes of finding out what happened to an 11-month-old boy who died early this morning.
His father brought the baby to St. John Hospital around 5:20 a.m. Thursday morning.
The baby was unresponsive and later died.
Police have detained the father for questioning. Investigators went to the father’s home on Detroit’s east side to gather evidence.
Family and friends could be seen consoling each other outside of the home.
