Making spirits bright. Most Christmas lists include food, family and friends. For many people, Christmas is about celebrating their faith.

No matter who you are, where you're from or what language you speak, there's nothing like the sound of children singing to put a smile on your face and joy in your heart. This is how Mass at "Our Lady of Czestochowa" in Sterling Heights began, with young voices celebrating the birth of their savior.

Feeding the spirit and feeding the belly go hand in hand at Rocky's Coney Island in Westland.

"Everybody is doing things for Thanksgiving, no one is doing Christmas," said Chris "Rocky" Gjoka, owner of Rocky's Coney island.

So he invited guests to come, sit and eat an incredible dinner, free of charge. It's a special night for Julie D'Amico trying to build new traditions since losing her husband.

"My step children live in Ohio so I appreciate rocky doing this so I’m not eating alone," D'Amico said.

Gjoka added that everybody that comes to Rocky's feels like family.
