The message reads: "Hi, I actually got another friend request from you yesterday which I ignored so you may want to check your account."
The message is making people believe that their account was hacked and is sending out friend requests without their consent.
Facebook officials say this is not true. Your account has not been hacked and has not been sending friend requests.
Do not forward the message to your friends because it's only helping to continue the hoax.
If you receive these messages, simply ignore them and do not forward them.
