An elderly Macomb Township man has been charged in the death of his wife.
On Aug. 28, Macomb County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a residence on Mackenzie Drive and had to force entry into the home.
Once inside, deputies located a deceased woman identified as Janet Nagy, 69. Police say she had multiple gunshot wounds to her head, leg and hand.
The man was located in the master bedroom bathroom of the home with a gunshot wound to the head. He is currently in the hospital in stable condition.
Police say a warrant has been issued for the following: One count of Homicide – First Degree Murder and one count of Weapons – Felony Firearm.
