A statewide crackdown on drunk driving is set to begin on Thursday.

It's part of Michigan's "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign. Police officers and judges from across the state will be announcing the increased enforcement today during an annual conference at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.

At the event, sobriety judges and those who have been arrested for drunk driving will be speaking about the consequences.

More drunk driving patrols will be out in every county through March 29, according to police.
