A tire that came flying through the air crashed into the windshield of a pickup truck with a husband and wife inside.
They were on I-96 this afternoon when the freak accident happened.
We're told the tire somehow came off of a car in the eastbound lanes.
It bounced along the freeway and crashed into the truck headed westbound near Wixom Road.
The man suffered injuries to his face and may have a concussion.
His wife suffered minor injuries
