A dog that was stolen out of a car in Corktown Saturday afternoon has been found safe thanks to an anonymous 7 Action News tipster.
7 Action News contacted police after the tip. Police then went to a home where they found the door unlatched and the dog came to them.
Wilfred the dog was taken from his owner's vehicle in a Detroit shopping area last weekend.
His owner says whomever stole him, also took luggage from inside their Subaru.
A warrant is expected to be signed in the case. The suspected thief was not home at the time. Police say they know who they are looking for.
