Detroit woman missing since Monday after going out with new friend

The Detroit Police Department needs your help finding a missing person.

Tanithia Cook, 50, has been missing since March 25. She was last seen in her home in the 5700 block of Bewick. She left her home with a new friend and never came home that day.

Cook is 5-foot-3 and 150 pounds. She has brown eyes and long curly black weaved hair extending to her mid-back. She also has a rose tattoo on her lower back and left thigh, a family tree tattoo with roses on her right thigh and a burn on her stomach. She was last seen wearing a pink and gray top, earrings, blue jeans and black boots with silver beads.

Cook is in good physical and mental health.
