The Detroit Red Wings are hosting the Hockeytown 5Kin September. The run/walk will take place along the Detroit River with the finish inside the Joe Louis Arena.
The 5K will start at 10 a.m. on September 10. Runners and walkers are encouraged to sport their favorite Red Wings apparel.
The race, which is put on in partnership with Meijer and Powerade, begins the celebration of the Farewell Season at The Joe.
