UPDATE MAY 20: In addition to money collected during garage sale on May 17, more than $6,000 has been donated so far through GoFundMe to the girlfriend of the man who was pushed off of a bus.
Additionally, a petition asking for removal of the judge who release Cadesha Bishop on bail has been signed by more than 1,000 people.
NEW INFORMATION: A garage sale is taking place from noon to 4 p.m. May 17 to help the family of the man who died after being pushed off of a bus.
The garage sale is being hosted by Serge Fournier's family and friends and the money will be used for his funeral. It is being shared at the apartment complex where he lived on Carson Avenue near Maryland Parkway and Carson Avenue.
Serge's family says he was retired and collected antiques and baseball cards. He also used to own a jewelry shop.
A GoFundMe has also been established to accept donations for expenses.
UPDATE APRIL 15: Suspect Cadesha Bishop, 25, has been released on bail. She is scheduled for a court appearance in Las Vegas Justice Court on May 23.

Las Vegas police have released the shocking video of a woman pushing an elderly man with off of a bus on March 21 near Fremont and 13th streets in the downtown area.
The elderly man initially refused medical treatment but went to the hospital later that day. On May 3, police were notified that the man had died from his injuries. The coroner ruled his death was a result of the injuries he received from being pushed.
Homicide detectives took over the investigation and determined a woman had been arguing with people on the bus. When the bus stopped, the victim and woman began arguing after he told her to be nicer and she then pushed him out of the bus.
25-year-old Cadesha Bishop was identified as the suspect and was arrested. She is facing an open murder charge.
The victim was identified as 74-year-old Serge Fournier.
This isn't the first time that there has been trouble on a bus in Las Vegas.
Currently, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada invests more than $8 million each year in contracted security services, accounting for 177 security officers.
The transit authority said it allocates resources to areas of concern as situations arise. It is not known if there was a security officer on the bus at the time of the incident.
