Country music star Michael Ray performed at the Rockin' Country Music Festival in Taylor over the weekend, but it's how he helped one metro Detroit fan see his show that is making the rounds on social media.

Kayla tweeted on Saturday afternoon from Ypsilanti "actual tears are rolling down my face knowing @Michaelraymusic is so clos and i'm car-less and can't go see him," with a screenshot of a post from Ray's account.

Ray reached out to Kayla on Twitter and said he would send and Uber to get Kayla and a friend and take them back home after the concert. On top of the Uber, he also gave them two tickets and meet and greets.

Kayla told Ray she was planning on seeing the show but didn't have a car on campus so she couldn't come. She did take him up on the offer.

When Kayla arrived, Ray was there to greet here and surprise her, prompting this selfie.

Kayla even got video of her favorite song, "I hate when you call."

Kayla said she was watching one of the performers at the festival when 99.5 WYCD came up and asked if she wanted to meet Carly Pearce, who was also performing before Ray.

In all, Kayla said she got around eight hugs from Ray, multiple pictures, an autograph on her phone and what became her "favorite day."
