Weeks after Michigan was labeled as "on-track" to contain COVID-19, the COVID Act Now website has the state at the "at risk" level.
On June 24, the state had moved from on-track to controlled disease growth, but in the past couple of weeks, the state has seen new cases of COVID-19 continuing to increase.
"Michigan is at risk of an outbreak. COVID cases are either increasing at a rate likely to overwhelm hospitals and/or the state’s COVID preparedness is well below international standards," the website reads.
It also added that active cases are "rapidly increasing."
