The Henry Ford will be executing a multi-phase approach for its reopening, beginning July 2.
The museum will hold a Members Preview Weekend for current and new members on July 2-5. It will open to nonmember guests on July 9.
In this first phase of reopening, Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation and Greenfield Village will only be open and operational Thursday through Sunday, with limited daily visitation.
The highly-anticipated Marvel exhibit which was supposed to open right after the pandemic began will officially open on July 16. The museum will have more information on it soon.
The Driven to Win exhibit, which was supposed to open this summer, is still in the process of getting a new opening date.
The museum will limit and eliminate hands-on activities, and most interactions between guests and staff will have a presence of six feet or more.
Reservations and tickets will be available to purchase on June 22.
