The Henry Ford announced Thursday it will be closing all public venues for at least a week over the growing coronavirus threat.

That includes The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, The Ford Rouge Factory Tour, the Giant Screen Experience and the Benson Research Center.
The closure will last until Wednesday, March 18 and will be reevaluated then. All public programs between now and March 18 will also be postponed or canceled, and anyone who purchased tickets will be able to turn their purchase into a donation or a refund.
"We think it was important to make this decision. We attract thousands of people on a daily basis and many school groups. We need to do our part to contain the spread of this very dangerous virus, and do it now," The Henry Ford CEO Patricia Mooradian said.
The DIA also said that they are canceling all public programs until April 13, including things listed below. The museum will remain open.
