Pitch a tent at home for National Camp at Home day on Friday night

Kammock, an outdoor goods store, is encouraging people to camp at home this week amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

They have designated March 27 National Camp At Home Day, and they're calling for the community to come together.

Whether it's a living room pillow fort or a backyard base camp, they're telling people to join the Facebook event and share ideas and activites for the day.

"We encourage you to bring your favorite camp snack, take sleeping bags out of the closet, charge headlamps, and build a campsite your inner child would jump for joy over. We highly recommend pillow forts of any shape or size, spooky stories around the glow of a lantern, and your dress-to-impress, best camp attire," the post reads.

Finally, get together with other people – digitally – for a digital campfire over a video call.
