LANSING, Mich. — There are 236,225 total COVID-19 cases and 7,811 total deaths in Michigan, the state reported Thursday.
That's up 6,940 cases from the day before, a new record for single-day case totals. Additionally, 45 additional deaths were reported Thursday.
State health leaders, including the heads of Henry Ford, Beaumont, and Spectrum Health Systems, joined Thursday to sound the alarm on the surge of COVID-19 cases in Michigan.
