(WSYM) — There have been 576,264 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Michigan, the state reported Tuesday.
Additionally, there have been 15,177 total deaths in the state.
That's an increase of 775 cases and 19 deaths from the day before.
State health officials say Michigan is trending down in the number of cases reported on a daily basis after a surge in the fall.
According to the MDHHS, the state's daily new case count has dropped 72%, and the positive test rate decreased about 5% from mid-November to Feb. 1.
