LANSING, Mich. — There are 115,387 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 6,638 deaths in Michigan, the state reported Friday.
That's up 695 cases and six deaths from the day before.
Overall, the state says 80,678 people have so far recovered from the virus.
On Wednesday, Dr. Joneigh Khaldun said overall the state is at a rate of 57 cases per million, and test positivity rate is 3.7 percent.
She also said the Detroit, Saginaw, and Traverse City regions have declining case rates. However, in Detroit, test positivity is increasing.
