There are now 111,524 cases of COVID-19 in Michigan and 6,591 deaths, the state reported Saturday.
That's an increase of 692 cases from the day before and 13 deaths.
On Friday, 1,313 cases were reported. That remains the highest single-day total in cases since April.
In a press conference Wednesday, Chief Medical Executive Dr. Joneigh Khaldun said the percentage of positive tests went up slightly to 3.2 percent.
A cumulative total of 80,678 have recovered from COVID-19 in the state, as of Sept. 4.
