Michigan reports 40 new COVID-19 cases, 15 additional deaths Friday

(WSYM) — There have been 893,949 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 19,707 deaths, the state reported Friday.

That's up 40 cases and 15 deaths from the last report on Thursday.

As of June 18, 860,080 people have recovered from the virus.

Michigan has recently dropped almost all COVID-19 restrictions across the state.
