LANSING, Mich. — The State of Michigan reported 4,905 new COVID-19 cases and 75 deaths on Wednesday. That brings the total number of cases to 415,200 and the total number of deaths from COVID-19 to 10,213.

The State of Michigan surpassed 400,000 total cases of COVID-19 on Monday, just less than nine months after the first cases were confirmed on March 10.

The 400,000 case mark came on the same day that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced the COVID-19 restrictions would be extended for 12 more days until Dec. 20.
