Michigan reports 4,273 new COVID-19 cases, 73 deaths

LANSING, Mich. — There are 324,779 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 8,761 total deaths in Michigan, the state reported Wednesday.

That's up 4,273 cases and 73 deaths from the day before.

Additionally, the state reports 27,654 probable cases and 409 probable deaths.

New COVID-19 restrictions have gone into effect in Michigan. Governor Gretchen Whitmer ordered the suspension of in-person dining services, the closing of high schools, movie theatres, and more.

As of Nov. 20, more than 152,000 people have recovered from the virus in Michigan.
