LANSING, Mich. — There are now 86,191 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 6,247 deaths, the state reported Friday.

That's up 762 cases from the day before.

On Friday, Governor Gretchen Whitmer extended the state's emergency and disaster declaration until Sept. 4.
