LANSING, Mich. — Governor Gretchen Whitmer is set to provide an update today on the state's response effort to COVID-19, as cases continue to rise in Michigan.

Michigan now has 67,237 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 6,015 total deaths, as of Wednesday afternoon.
That's up 610 cases, the highest daily increase since May.
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has said Michigan could "dial back" reopening if the number of COVID-19 cases continue to go up in the state.
