LANSING, Mich. — Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Chief Medical Executive Dr. Joneigh Khaldun will provide an update on the state’s response efforts to COVID-19 this afternoon.

The press conference is scheduled Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Lansing.

There are now 97,660 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Michigan and 6,397 deaths, according to new numbers released by the state on Monday. That's up 868 cases and four deaths.
