Due to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center will close our facility to the public through April 12. All programs, events, and open hours are canceled at this time.

At Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center, we believe that in challenging times like these the power of the arts is needed most of all. We are also proudly committed to the health and wellbeing of our visitors, artists, staff, students, and our community. Thank you toeach and every one of you who has reached out over the past few days to offer your support!

Our team has been tirelessly monitoring the evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation via local, national, and international public health authorities. As you may be aware, Governor Whitmer recently declared a state of emergency for Michigan. Advisories have been issued by the Centers for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and Lansing Mayor Schor.
There is hope! Given these unique circumstances, we’ve taken additional measures to fulfill our mission to provide public awareness, education, and enjoyment of the visual arts by promoting the works of Michigan artists. We’re curating online opportunities to gain knowledge, practice your craft, and hone your artistic skills.
Stay tuned for updates about our programs, Michigan artists, and new opportunities for virtual engagement through our website at www.lansingartgallery.org [lansingartgallery.org] and follow our Facebook and Instagram pages.
