A 92-year-old matriarch tragically passed away after showing initial signs of recovery.

Elsie Saari showed signs of recovering by clapping and talking to family members who were sitting outside her window praying for her recovery.

She passed away on April 12.

Deborah Saari Kiesgen posted on Facebook about her mother's fight for her life.
