(WXYZ) — Congressman Bill Huizenga tested positive for COVID-19 before meeting with Vice President Mike Pence.

Huizenga said he took a rapid test that came back positive for COVID-19 while he was taking part in offsite testing protools.

He said he is self-isolating until he has confirmed results.

Pence was in Michigan Wednesday to deliver remarks on the "historic accomplishments of the Trump administration" in Grand Rapids.
