LANSING, Mich. — Michigan has 5,818 deaths and 60,618 confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to new numbers released Thursday.

That's up 26 deaths and 225 cases from the day before.

Throughout the week, the state's increases in deaths were in the single-digits.

She also said the state would likely move into phase 5 before the Fourth of July.
