As of 10 a.m. Thursday, Consumers Energy is reporting 141,000 of its customers are currently without power across the state following Wednesday's storm.
While the company says 92 percent are with power and there are 3,633 outages, a total 141,659 customers have been affected by the aftermath of the storm.
More than 240,000 customers lost power since the first storms struck the state early Tuesday evening, according to Consumers Energy. 412 employee and contractor crews are working to help customers affected by the storms.
The company expects restoration work will continue through Friday for most of the impacted customers. Restoration for some of the hardest hit areas such as Branch, Calhoun, Jackson, Kent and Saginaw counties may continue into the weekend.
