Cedar Point's Top Thrill Dragster, one of the tallest roller coasters in the world, has been shut down for weeks.

On Aug. 8, Cedar Point tweeted that the ride was not open, and its pit crew was working with the manufacturer to reopen it as soon as possible.

On Aug. 10, the park tweeted that it will remain closed until a part arrives from the manufacturer. There is no estimated time for reopening.

As of Aug. 23, the ride remains closed

👉🏻 Maverick will have a delayed opening today.
