Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating a hit-and-run driver.

Police say the driver fled the scene on February 10 after hitting a man, now identified as Jeffrey Allen Compau. The victim is in critical condition.

Compau was walking south on Middlebelt Road, just south of Eureka, when he was struck by a tan Buick Rendezvous.

Police say the front passenger side mirror is missing, and the front passenger headlight is damaged.

A cash reward of up to $2,500 will be offered to anyone who has information that can lead to an arrest.
