Case of Hepatitis A confirmed in worker at Woodhaven pizza restaurant

WOODHAVEN, Mich. - A case of Hepatitis A has been confirmed in a food service worker at MOD Pizza in Woodhaven.
The Wayne County Health Department said the facility was inspected Thursday and is open for business, working with the department during the investigation.
Health department officials are advising people who consumed food from the Mod Pizza in Woodhaven between April 28 and May 12 to watch for Hepatitis A symptoms.
Symptoms include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dark urine, clay colored stool, fever, chills, yellow skin and eyes. They occur between 15 and 50 days after exposure and can last for several weeks to months.
