Neal Richardson's story of being punched, stabbed and carjacked had just aired on local news Thursday night when his missing daughter called to check on him.

Richardson reported his 16-year-old daughter missing weeks ago, but after seeing her father badly injured on television, she reached out to see if he was okay.

Richardson was assaulted by two teenagers Wednesday night as he was taking them to play basketball at his church.

The 15-year-old and 17-year-old boys stabbed and punched Richardson before carjacking the 64-year-old retired Comcast employee.

Richardson has a permit to carry a concealed firearm and the teenagers also stole that handgun.

Tonight, Richardson has a few things to say to those boys as Detroit Police continue to search for them.
